Gene Expression & Molecular Biology Co-Op

Role: Support gene expression workflow development and optimization within Bayer’s molecular biology and genomics research. Responsibilities: perform RNA extraction, prepare nucleic acid samples, design controls, optimize protocols, assist with transcriptomic sample preparation, analyze results, and collaborate across molecular biology, genomics, and bioinformatics teams; present findings. Requirements: pursuing Master’s or Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related field; experience with nucleic acid extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis; strong attention to detail and data analysis skills; ability to work independently and in teams.
