What You Will Achieve
- Launch new Gastroenterology products, develop strategies to manage business relationships, understand formulary access, and promote products within assigned accounts.
- Conduct sales efforts and develop relationships with assigned customers/accounts, including Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Build and maintain customer rapport in virtual and in-person (F2F) settings using a systematic, structured approach to virtual engagement (clear agenda, next steps/follow-ups).
- Use digital/virtual tools and analytics (e.g., Veeva Engage, Zoom, Microsoft Office) to support customer engagement and next-best-action planning.
- Deliver compliant, targeted messaging with approved materials to drive product demand and a positive business outcome; proactively develop insights for new approved messaging/resources.
- Educate providers using product and disease-state knowledge (unbranded and branded value propositions) using approved clinically oriented disease-state information.
- Plan and support customer engagements in multiple formats; deploy approved resources (samples, vouchers, co-pay resources, patient education).
- Support patient access through information to HCPs on reimbursement, Patient Assistant Program (PAP), Pfizer hub programs, and co-pay resources.
- Present terms of sale/contract terms with approved language; answer on-label questions; introduce customers to Pfizer on-demand portal (Galaxy) with targeted content.
- Collaborate compliantly with cross-functional teams (Field Medical, Reimbursement, Key Account Management) and use triaging protocols/digital apps to connect with appropriate SMEs.
- Use calendaring tools and leadership goals to manage priorities; bring customer survey insights to leadership.

Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree OR associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience; OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical biotech or medical marketing/promotional/sales experience with demonstrated leadership in a specialized market using third-party reimbursement/service center.
- Demonstrated marketing/promotional/sales success; strong territory management; outstanding communications; teamwork, leadership ability, and accountability.
- Must live within 50 miles of the territory.
- Valid US driver’s license; no DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years.

Nice-to-Haves
- 3–5 years specialty marketing/promotional/sales experience.
- Strong knowledge of disease states/therapeutic areas/products; deep knowledge of applicable customers/markets.
- Strategic account marketing/promotional/sales/management skills; superior technical/relationship-building skills.
- Track record of assessing account needs and using data/analytics/sales reporting for insights; strong business acumen, problem solving, strategic thinking, project management, planning/prioritization.
- Ability to quickly learn new ways of working; work in a matrix environment; strong cross-functional leadership/collaboration.
- Experience working with key thought leaders/high-influence customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations preferred.

Non-standard Work Schedule, Travel Or Environment Requirements
- Ability to travel to all accounts/office locations within the territory.

- Annual base salary range: $108,600–$250,700; quarterly Sales Incentive bonus.
