Responsibilities:
- Execute Drug Product and Packing manufacturing processes (formulation, encapsulation, primary and secondary packaging) without supervision.
- Service and operate automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment across multiple value streams independently.
- Maintain department assets to ensure production readiness; execute operations-based work orders and initiate repairs/improvements in Maximo.
- Use Antares and work vision systems to improve efficiency and reduce production downtime.
- Perform root cause analysis using the “5 Whys” method and conduct initial investigations.
- Drive safety culture by participating in the site safety committee and adhering to EHS procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment/process setup and operation issues; escalate to Engineering & Maintenance as needed; partner on improvements and implementation.
- Participate as Operations representative in qualification of new equipment/technology/projects, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FATs); support NPIs.
- Interface with Maintenance, Materials Management, Quality, Tech Center, and Engineering on improvements/process changes; lead procedure/CPR/testing POM updates.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 5+ years cGMP manufacturing experience operating automatic/manual/semi-automated equipment (preferred).
- Technical troubleshooting experience in manufacturing and packaging.
- Basic computer skills; ability to learn new programs.
- Strong quality and compliance focus.
- Ability to communicate with operations, engineering, and mechanical teams; read P&IDs.
- Proficient with HMI controls, vision inspection, and product serialization; evaluate data, trends, and alarms.
- Proficient with systems such as POMs, SAP, and MAXIMO.
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment (pumps, piping, manifolds, valves).
- Standing 8–12 hours/day and lifting up to 25 pounds.
