Role: BioProcess Engineer within AbbVie's Process Engineering team, focusing on developing scalable biologics and ADC manufacturing processes across preclinical and clinical stages. Responsibilities: lead or support process development for biologics, including establishing robust and commercial-ready processes, optimizing bioconjugation, purification, and scale-up; author technical and regulatory documentation; collaborate cross-functionally with chemists, analytical scientists, and manufacturing teams; contribute to process innovations and technological advancements. Requirements: BS, MS, or PhD in Chemical/Bio Engineering with 4+ to 12+ years of industrial experience; strong background in chemical engineering, process development, and biologics, particularly in bioconjugation and purification methods; demonstrated problem-solving skills, leadership ability, and effective communication. Preferred: biologics process development expertise (antibody-drug conjugates, protein purification), familiarity with analytical techniques (HPLC, UV/Vis, FTIR), process modeling, and tech transfer; GxP experience and potent compound handling.
