Role: Senior Process Engineer within AbbVie's Development Sciences, focusing on biologics and ADC process development to enable scalable manufacturing from early to late-stage development. Responsibilities: lead process development activities including establishing robust manufacturing processes, optimizing bioprocesses, developing commercial-ready procedures, and authoring regulatory documents. Collaborate cross-functionally with chemistry, analytical, and manufacturing teams; address biochemical reaction challenges; and contribute to scientific publications. Qualifications: BS/MS/PhD in Chemical/Bio Engineering or related field with 4+ to 12+ years of relevant industrial experience; strong background in bioprocess development, biochemical separations, and process scale-up; excellent communication and leadership skills. Preferred: biologics process development expertise (bioconjugation, purification), familiarity with analytical techniques (HPLC, FTIR, Raman), process modeling, GxP experience, and cross-functional team leadership. High-value specifics include biologics and ADC modalities, early to late development phases, process development, and regulatory support.
