Freight Analyst

Role: Strategic Freight Analyst responsible for analyzing and optimizing transportation costs and processes within a manufacturing logistics setting. Objectives include identifying cost-saving opportunities, benchmarking carrier rates, developing financial models for sourcing and negotiations, and supporting continuous improvement projects. Core responsibilities encompass advanced quantitative analysis of freight data across multiple modes (LTL, FTL, ocean, air), managing SAP transportation master data, creating dashboards with Power BI, and providing executive reporting. The role requires collaboration with operations, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and process optimization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or related field; 4+ years in transportation or supply chain analytics; strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas), SAP, and analytical tools like Power BI. Preferred skills include experience supporting RFPs, carrier sourcing, and working across global regions. The position is onsite in Memphis, TN or Cedar Creek, TX, with 10% travel.
