Floater Phlebotomist-Ocala

Role: Phlebotomist providing blood collection and specimen processing at a Patient Service Center, with opportunities for career growth. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws across all ages, collect specimens for various tests, accurately document patient info, process specimens, and provide exceptional customer service. Additional duties include administrative tasks, specimen prep, and travel to additional sites as needed. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or equivalent training/experience of at least 3 months. Preferred: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience. High-Value: specimen collection (blood, drug screens, paternity, alcohol tests), patient interaction, data entry, specimen processing, minimal supervision, flexibility for overtime, travel; requires valid driver’s license and ability to pass color blindness test. WorkSetup: Monday–Friday with varying hours, rotation Saturdays; travel may be required.
