Float Phlebotomist

Role: Float Phlebotomist responsible for blood collection across various clinical sites in Austin, TX, with a focus on diverse patient populations. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws, process specimens, enter patient data accurately, assist with billing and specimen prep, and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities also include administrative tasks and traveling between multiple clinic locations. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; preferred 2+ years of phlebotomy experience in clinical or hospital settings, including pediatric to geriatric patients; prior LabCorp experience is a plus. Skills: strong communication, customer service orientation, ability to work independently, adaptability in high-volume environments, and reliable transportation. Additional requirements: pass color blindness test, be 21+, clean driving record, flexible to work overtime, and capable of working in a fast-paced setting.
