Float Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist responsible for blood collection, specimen processing, data entry, and providing customer service at Labcorp's Oak Creek, WI location. Objectives: ensure accurate specimen collection and patient data management, while delivering high-quality service. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws across all age groups; handle drug screens, paternity, and alcohol tests; prepare specimens for testing; maintain logs; process billing and payments; and perform administrative duties, including travel to additional sites as needed. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; preferred certification or 6+ months of experience in phlebotomy; strong customer service and communication skills; ability to work independently or in teams; reliable transportation; pass color blindness test. HighValue: clinical specimen collection, data accuracy, customer service; may involve travel. WorkSetup: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM, with every 4th Saturday rotation; travel required.
