General Summary:
The Associate Director, FP&A provides financial leadership and strategic support to the U.S. Kidney team, shaping near-term and long-term financial goals. The role supports pre-launch contracting strategies and post-launch commercial revenue planning in the U.S., partnering across Finance, Market Access, Commercial, Trade, and Analytics to deliver actionable insights and define KPIs that support business performance and patient access.
Key Duties And Responsibilities:
- Provide financial leadership and strategic guidance to functional leaders supporting the U.S. Kidney business.
- Support pricing and contracting proposals (scenario modeling, risk assessment, mitigation planning) with Market Access.
- Lead and support quarterly revenue forecasts with Market Access Analytics to validate inputs and generate forward-looking insights.
- Review weekly sales performance and assess drivers of short-term results with Commercial Insights and Analytics.
- Partner with Trade and Gross-to-Net Forecasting teams to evaluate inventory dynamics and support distribution strategy recommendations.
- Develop performance tracking for key assumptions and metrics across actuals, budgets, and forecasts (including gross-to-net impacts).
- Partner with sample program coordinator and analytics team to optimize program impact and support integrated budgeting.
- Ensure financial integrity, governance, and compliance.
- Define and monitor business KPIs to support strategic decisions and expand patient access.
Knowledge And Skills:
- Pharmaceutical industry experience; finance business partnering with senior/executive leaders.
- Strong financial/analytical/problem-solving skills for complex investment decisions.
- Portfolio analysis, valuation, ROI/ROIC, forecasting, and commercial finance support.
- Strong communication/influencing/interpersonal skills across senior and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lead through change; operate in cross-functional, matrixed, global environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems (including Hyperion).
- Demonstrated leadership in building high-performing partnerships and teams.
Education And Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
- Typically 8+ years in a finance managerial role (or equivalent education/experience).
- Proven success in team-based environments.
