Your Role:
As the site’s functional expert, the Financial Controller is responsible for financial reporting and financial management of the entire site, including balance sheet, income statement, Sarbanes-Oxley control documentation, execution and sub-certification processes, business relationships, and contracting. Serves as a senior site leader supporting strategy and health and safety; contributes to Plant Lead Team discussions; leads the business performance portion of monthly reporting to senior management.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the senior financial analyst; oversee metric reporting and annual business planning (capacities, standard costing, business partner interaction).
- Ensure expenses, variances, and inventories are accurate and timely; forecasts reflect monthly expectations.
- Own financial control processes; planning, reporting, and forecasting; special projects (including Six Sigma/productivity). Strong core accounting principles.
- Implement/maintain Sarbanes-Oxley controls; review monthly documentation; lead internal/external auditors through controls and asset verifications.
- Interpret financial data for day-to-day operations; provide timely metrics/analyses to drive focus and accountability.
- Lead employees/projects/leaders/functions; responsible for a $90M budget, varying capital budget, cost of goods, and inventory stocks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in Finance/Accounting or MBA (technical/operations undergrad such as Engineering, Chemistry, Biology).
- At least 5 years of cost controller experience.
- People management/development experience in manufacturing.
- Legally authorized to work in the US; no expected visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SAP S4, SAP BW, PowerBI, Onestream.
- Experience with forecast/closing activities and management reporting; strong internal control environment.
