Your Role: Financial Analyst – Manufacturing Operations
Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly closes to ensure a “true and fair” view of the site’s financial position in compliance with US GAAP, company policies, and SOX expectations.
- Lead business planning and forecasting (strategic and 12-month plans), incorporating demand, headcount, capital projects, and expense requirements.
- Perform “what-if” analyses on raw materials, equipment cycle times, and staffing to drive production profitability and benchmark against other sites.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Site and Corporate management; coach non-financial staff on financial matters and influence cross-functional decisions.
- Control company assets (inventory and fixed assets) and ensure accurate product costing and valuation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a financial role (or an MBA in finance with strong business support/controllership track record).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency; strong analytical/problem-solving skills with basic manufacturing understanding.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (Operations, R&D, Procurement).
- Ability to link financial results to operational drivers and generate alternatives.
- Strong communication skills; ability to work across diverse cultures and management styles.
Additional Information:
- Travel up to 25% depending on location.
- Off-hours support (evenings/weekends) may be required for process issues/outages.
