Position: Financial Analyst, FP&A โ€“ Shockwave Medical (Santa Clara, CA)

Position Overview
- Part of the Global Operations Finance Team, reporting to the Finance Manager โ€“ Operations.
- Supports Santa Clara Operations and Facilities organizations.

Essential Job Functions
- Lead rolling forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range forecasts for Santa Clara Operations and Facilities.
- Support senior business leaders with actuals; analyze variance, identify trends, and recommend actions to improve forecast execution and accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to plan and execute initiatives.
- Perform monthly/quarterly close activities (accruals, variance analysis, reporting, and audit support).
- Apply Johnson & Johnsonโ€™s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 1โ€“3 years of accounting, finance, or related business experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently; plan, prioritize, and communicate progress on multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with planning software such as Adaptive or Anaplan.
- Understanding of GAAP accounting and financial statements.
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with internal customers.

Preferred Skills
- Analytical reasoning, budgeting, confidentiality, consulting, data savvy, econometric models, execution focus, financial analysis/data management/modeling/planning/reports, financial risk management (FRM), process-oriented, business behavior.

Benefits (time off)
- Vacation: 120 hours/year; Sick time: 40 hours/year (CO: 48; WA: 56); Holiday pay (incl. floating): 13 days/year.
- Work/Personal/Family time: up to 40 hours/year; Parental leave: 480 hours within one year of birth/adoption/foster care.
- Bereavement leave: 240 hours immediate family; 40 hours extended family/year.

Compensation
- Anticipated base pay range: $75,000.00 โ€“ $120,750.00.
