The Position
- Support financial performance management and business decision-making for DPM US through planning, analysis, performance reporting, and preparation of close inputs.
- Translate business priorities into actionable financial plans and provide visibility to risks and opportunities.
- Act as a finance partner by providing structured analysis, insights, and financial guidance.
- Align financial plans with business priorities, operational objectives, and resource allocation decisions.
- Support annual budgeting (AB/RE/LE), rolling forecasts, and long-range plans.
- Contribute to consolidated financial reporting and analysis with consistency, reconciliation, transparency, and reliable decision support.
- Prepare month-end close inputs and ensure accurate, timely submissions.
- Support monthly/quarterly performance reviews with financial and operational analyses.
- Perform variance analysis versus AB/RE/LE; identify drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Link operational drivers/capacity assumptions to financial outcomes.
- Develop and evaluate business cases and investment proposals; perform financial modeling, scenario analysis, and sensitivity assessments.
- Evaluate investment opportunities using robust ROI-focused analyses; ensure disciplined capital allocation and follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and governance requirements; support audits/documentation.
- Drive improvements in reporting/forecasting/analysis; support finance automation/standardization.
- Follow all safety & environmental requirements.
Qualifications
- Masterโs in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Business Administration (or related) + 3+ years progressive experience in Finance/FP&A/Controlling/Business Partnering; OR Bachelorโs + 5+ years progressive experience.
- Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing decisions.
- Strong expertise in financial planning/forecasting, performance management, financial modeling, investment/portfolio analysis, management reporting, and cost/resource allocation.
- Advanced analytical/problem-solving skills; strong communication and stakeholder management; English fluency.
- Preferred: pharma/life science/manufacturing or regulated industry; matrix/global org experience; value chain economics; SAP/Copilot; leadership of cross-functional projects; continuous improvement mindset.
