Finance Systems Analyst

Role: Finance Systems Analyst responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing enterprise financial systems at Madrigal. Core duties include overseeing systems like NetSuite, Coupa, Concur, and Workiva, executing upgrades, ensuring data integrity, and supporting SOX compliance. The role acts as a liaison across finance and other functions to facilitate system enhancements, automation, and process improvements, including AI initiatives. Responsibilities also encompass developing process documentation, delivering user training, and supporting internal adoption efforts. The analyst ensures internal control and audit readiness, especially regarding SOX compliance, and collaborates on enterprise-wide technology transformation projects. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field, with 2-3+ years of experience in finance operations, technology implementation, and audit/SOX processes. Expertise in Coupa and NetSuite is required, along with strong analytical, project management, and communication skills. High-value biopharma specifics involve supporting financial systems critical to drug development and commercialization, with emphasis on compliance, automation, and cross-functional collaboration. The role reports to the Manager of Finance Operations and Systems, working in a hybrid setup with potential global team interaction.
