Finance Partner, Medical

Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary finance partner for strategy and decision-making for the US Medical organization.
- Shape financial direction by understanding business drivers, performance levers, and strategic trade-offs; own meaningful KPIs; frame risks/opportunities early; turn analysis into performance actions.
- Lead planning and forecast cycles with rigor, pace, and accountability; own quality of analysis and modeling; ensure outputs are accurate, decision-ready, and supported by strong controls, governance, and auditable records.
- Use insight to direct resources to highest-value opportunities; own scenario analysis and challenge assumptions; support disciplined investment decisions grounded in data, strategy, and impact.
- Build trusted partnerships across a matrixed organization; communicate with clarity and credibility; own the narrative and influence decisions.
- Continuously improve how work gets done through simplification, standardization, and smart use of tools; own process improvement; adapt to change; apply curiosity, learning agility, and digital fluency.

Basic Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years finance business partnering experience (partnering, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, scenario planning).
- Presentation skills translating complex data into clear recommendations.
- Business advisory experience presenting complex financial insights to non-finance audiences.
- Influencing/engagement skills with senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a matrix environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA/MS or equivalent; CPA/CIMA/ACCA.
- Pharmaceutical/biotech/medical research finance experience.
- Digital fluency (SAP, planning tools, BI platforms).
- Business/functional/commercial P&L experience.
- Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Strong ability to build finance and business partner networks and bridge finance/non-finance communication.
