Role Summary
Finance Manager DPS Network & SI&D located in Titusville, NJ or Raritan, NJ. Provides financial leadership and support to Network Strategy and Innovation & Deployment leaders and project managers, interacting with multiple US and international locations. Reports to the DPS Network and Strategic Programs (SI&D) Senior Finance Manager. This role may involve up to 10% travel and, upon completion of a planned corporate separation, employment may shift to DePuy Synthes under its processes and policies.
Responsibilities
- Project Governance & Compliance: Lead discussions with Project Managers to ensure project costs align with plan and develop accurate financial forecasts; develop financial models and scenarios (NPV, IRR) and P&L forecasts; ensure project accounting and reporting meet compliance requirements; adhere to financial processes, controls, and targets using Johnson & Johnson procedures.
- Financial Planning And Analysis: Collaborate on financial planning following Franchise calendars; develop and communicate detailed project budgets, analyses, and executive projections; identify insights on goals, opportunities, risks, and mitigation strategies; build cross-functional partnerships to challenge assumptions and influence decisions.
- Project Execution: Define and align future-state finance operating model and execution roadmap; drive prioritization and implementation of financial processes and systems to enable Day 1 and ongoing site activities.
- Staff management and leadership: Manage three direct reports; provide coaching and support to develop performance and talent.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting / Finance. Minimum 5 years of finance or accounting experience. Experience designing, implementing, and managing processes/tools in a global organization. Strong results orientation with hands-on project leadership in complex environments. Proactive collaborator across functions with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Preferred: Advanced degree or certifications such as CPA, CMA, PMP or MBA/Master’s. Travel up to 10% is acceptable.
