Role Summary
The Finance Lead, Price Strategy & Monitoring focuses on strategic initiatives and monitoring impacting customers under the Finance Gross to Net (GTN) team. The role analyzes and reviews unique customer discounting mechanisms from inception to payout, provides commercial guidance on thresholds and ROI, and operationalizes offers through accrual and payout processes in SAP. It supports ad hoc projects with complex financial models related to contract and program discounts, and oversees patient pricing constructs and loyalty programs within the aesthetics business.
Responsibilities
- Support standardization efforts for customer discount mechanisms and ensure operational execution for completeness and accuracy when accruing and paying discounts.
- Execute scenario modelling for pricing models and other strategic pricing mechanisms. Create complex financial models to revise commercial assumptions and assess potential revenue impact of new pricing strategy for the US business.
- Investigate potential financial impacts of strategic price mechanisms by brand for discounts, rebate promotions, capital equipment leasing, cross-selling, product bundles or other strategic offers. Provide financial insight on gross to net financial impact.
- Support modeling and analytics on customer performance for periodic commercial leadership review meetings and ad hoc business needs.
- Perform periodic monitoring and remediate noncompliance for customers participating in a novel pricing construct for consumable product. Develop robust monitoring controls, SOPs, and documentation for consumable product.
- Oversee the progress/status of specific customer pricing mechanisms through monthly governance. Partner closely with Commercial brand teams on controls over customer pricing and share best practices to promote compliance.

Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree required. Bachelorโs degree in finance or accounting preferred. MBA and /or CPA designation a plus.
- 6+ years of progressive and related experience in finance and/or accounting.
- Self-starter with ability to operate independently, drive processes, identify and implement process improvements, establish and adjust priorities to achieve objectives and operate with speed and agility.
- Ability to work productively within a team environment and perform duties independently while keeping Finance management informed. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills as job responsibilities include communicating with various levels of management.
- Proficient in creating and maintaining highly complex Excel financial models.
- Must be comfortable breaking down large amounts of data.
- Knowledge of Allergan brands, AbbVie/Allergan reporting systems and Gross to Net preferred.
