Role Summary
The Botox Tx Finance Lead will be primarily responsible for the planning, development, and analysis of the Botox Tx SG&A budget. The role will lead developing accurate and timely projections of spend for all Plan, LBE, LRP, Portfolio and Actual submissions. The individual builds and maintains knowledge of the business through close communication across a variety of cross-functional partners including executives, Marketing & Sales Management, Marketing Analytics and Business Insights and Commercial Finance. Additional responsibilities with proven success include assisting in volume forecast development and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Primarily responsible for budget development and system loads for Plan, LRP & LBE’s supporting SG&A of $300MM for the Botox Therapeutic business unit.
- Manages multiple stakeholders including the Botox Tx VP, Head of Sales and Head of Marketing, answering queries and providing analysis on a timely basis to support decision making.
- Operates independently to prepare and create reporting and key metric packages.
- Month end journal entry analysis and preparation as required.
- Provides value added monthly budget vs. actual variance analysis to the business.
- Manages all system requirements including cost/profit center structure and maintenance.
- Ad hoc analysis as required to support the business.
Qualifications
- Required: BS/BA in Analytics, Mathematics/Statistics, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Operations, or Marketing
- Required: A minimum of 6+ years of combined experience in analytics, forecasting, and/or financial planning and analysis
- Required: Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, along with good interpersonal skills to effectively work with all levels of management
- Required: Ability to triangulate a wide variety of data sets and analytics
- Required: Agility to prioritize and quickly understand issues and assess data integrity is critical due to challenging deadlines
- Required: Strong Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills
- Preferred: PowerPoint skills
- Required: Ability to work independently and self-starter, supporting the business and forecasting leadership in a variety of locations
- Required: Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Preferred: Previous pharmaceutical and forecasting experience
