OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
The Finance Business Partner Lead supports the Thousand Oaks Manufacturing site as the main business partner for the facility. This is a high-level individual contributor role reporting directly to the Site Finance Head.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead site finance activities: business partnering, decision support, budgeting, forecasting, and financial variance analysis.
- Develop financial business cases and analyses to justify capital investments.
- Provide financial insights to site leadership on manufacturing performance, local risks/opportunities, predictive scenario planning, new products, and transformation initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure budget accountability and proactively address financial risks and cost overruns.
- Maintain financial master data and ensure data integrity for financial tools.
- Perform annual standard cost calculations and monthly deviation analysis.
- Enhance controls environment; oversee local SOX & controls planning, implementation, remediation, and risk assessment.
- Oversee fiduciary/statutory responsibilities, including statutory reporting, compliance, period-end reporting, and required stats and tax return submissions.

EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, AND SKILLS
Qualifications
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance and 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong financial analysis; experience supporting cross-functional decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills and strong executive presence.
- Relationship management, enterprise mindset, strategic problem-solving, and ability to operate in a global matrix.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech, including cost accounting with manufacturing and/or supply chain exposure.
- Deep understanding of ERP tools and their functions.
- Experience with SAP, JD Edwards, SAP Analytics Cloud, Blackline, Concur, Ariba, Qlik Cloud, ReportsNow, Invoicetrack, and Microsoft Office suite.
