Finance Analyst, Legal Finance

The Financial Analyst will support legal fee settlement payments, month-end close activities, and ongoing financial forecasting to support legal business partners. The role also supports process enhancements and reporting improvements.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports for month-end close.
- Assist the Finance Manager with OEC forecast responsibilities.
- Maintain forecasting budget trackers and EAL planning calendar.
- Primary contact for insurance-backed legal matters, including impact summaries and carrier invoicing support.
- Monitor capital and project expense activity.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly finance reports (e.g., Passport Report for Deal Fees, Legal Fee Aging Report, New Matter Report, Legal Ops Spend Report).
- Perform quarterly compliance audits and maintain legal fee balance sheet sweeps.
- Support settlement payments.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (required).
- 2+ years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting.
- Strong communication skills and customer support.
- Ability to manage large data sets; highly organized and adaptable.
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities and expectations.
- Proven relationship-building skills with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Knowledge of SAP and BPC (preferred, not required).
