Role: Field Service Engineer supporting Agilent's IVD biopsy tissue stainer systems and multi-vendor lab instruments. Objectives: ensure optimal instrument performance, troubleshoot issues, perform maintenance, and maintain customer satisfaction across laboratory environments. Responsibilities: install, implement, maintain, repair hardware/software, optimize configurations, conduct preventive maintenance, respond to service requests, train customers and staff, document activities, and collaborate with product and OEM teams. Requirements: associate or relevant technical training in electronics or related field; 4+ years in instrumentation maintenance or clinical lab environments; hands-on troubleshooting experience; proficiency with lab hardware/software; strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred: experience with Agilent tissue stainers; familiarity with regulated lab settings. High-Value: focus on IVD diagnostics, biopsy tissue processing, multi-vendor systems, regulated environments, and customer service excellence. Work setup: full-time, remote-capable position with up to 50% travel, territory within Louisiana and Mississippi, supporting U.S. clients.
