Role: Field Service Engineer supporting Agilent's IVD biopsy tissue stainer systems and multi-vendor lab solutions. Main objectives include on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and optimization of laboratory instrumentation to ensure peak performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities encompass hardware/software setup, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, customer training, and documenting service activities. The role involves collaboration with managers, sales teams, product specialists, and OEM vendors, with an emphasis on proactive communication and quality compliance. Qualifications: military training, associate degree or relevant coursework in electronics or related fields; 4+ years of experience in instrumentation maintenance or as a lab end user; familiarity with clinical/analytical lab environments, troubleshooting, and repair. Preferred: bachelorโ€™s or masterโ€™s in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related sciences; experience with Agilent biopsy tissue stainers. High-Value: supporting IVD diagnostic systems, regulated lab environments, and multi-vendor solutions in biopharma or clinical diagnostics. Work setup: full-time, remote work option, with up to 50% travel, primarily covering Louisiana and Mississippi territories, with U.S. travel support.
