Field Service Engineer - Los Angeles Area

Role: Field Service Engineer responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing GE OEC medical imaging equipment across South Los Angeles, South Bay, Orange County, and the Pacific Region. Responsibilities encompass technical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, managing repair parts, customer communication, tools calibration, and vendor oversight. The role may involve training clinical staff and supporting revenue through contract renewals. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent military experience, with relevant electronics service background (minimum 2-12+ years based on education), including experience diagnosing mechanical and electronic systems. Preferred skills include Six Sigma certification, strong communication, conflict management, and customer relationship skills; technical expertise with medical imaging equipment is highly valued.
