Field Service Engineer- Long Island New York

Role: Surgical Field Service Engineer supporting Alcon ophthalmic equipment, specializing in installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of surgical devices at customer sites within Long Island and surrounding areas. Responsibilities: perform complex technical tasks to ensure equipment functionality, diagnose and resolve issues, conduct preventive maintenance, develop customer relationships for ongoing service contracts, document service activities, escalate technical problems, and adhere to GxP regulations and SOPs. Requirements: associate’s degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years in technical service, fluent in English, ability to lift 50 pounds. Preferred: experience with advanced medical devices, laser technology, hospital OR protocols, CRM tools like ServiceMax, and problem-solving in high-pressure environments.
