Field Service Engineer I

Role: Field Service Engineer I supporting Quanterix’s ultra-sensitive biomarker detection platforms, including Simoa and Spatial Biology instruments. Responsibilities: perform onsite installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and customer training; manage regional service workload independently; collaborate with support teams to ensure seamless customer experience; maintain service tools and documentation; build expertise on multiple platforms over time. Requirements: associate’s degree in engineering, Electronics, Biotechnology, or related field; 2+ years’ experience in scientific instrument service support; strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with electromechanical, optical, or lab equipment. Preferred: experience with microscopy, digital imaging, fluorescence, microfluidics; CRM software proficiency (Salesforce preferred); excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and travel 80%+ predominantly within North America. High-value: supporting advanced biomarker detection and spatial tissue imaging technologies in a clinical research setting, with emphasis on reliability, customer engagement, and technical proficiency in biologics, diagnostics, or medical instrumentation. Work setup: remote based in Denver, Colorado, with significant regional travel.
