Field Service Engineer

Role: Field Service Engineer for biomedical instruments, focusing on installation, calibration, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of Biocare Medical equipment and contracted systems. Responsibilities include providing technical support to clients and internal teams, serving as on-site contact for instrument issues, collaborating with sales, engineering, QA/QC, and R&D, and participating in histology/immunohistochemistry functions. The role requires extensive travel (75%), ensuring minimal instrument downtime. Qualifications: Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technologies or related field; 4+ years of relevant FSE experience in medical or similar instrument service; strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills; experience with robotics and fluidics is advantageous; certification such as CBET preferred. Additional skills include advanced computer proficiency and a valid driver’s license.
