Role: Field Service Engineer 2 supporting medical equipment in Rhode Island and Eastern Massachusetts, focusing on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations across multiple modalities. Responsibilities: perform timely preventative maintenance; troubleshoot and repair equipment; lead installations and validations; serve as escalation contact; manage customer issues from diagnosis to resolution; ensure regulatory compliance and documentation; and promote customer satisfaction and service revenue growth. Requirements: associate degree or equivalent military experience with 4+ years servicing electronic equipment, or high school diploma with 6+ years relevant experience; technical skills in troubleshooting, repair, and installation; valid driver’s license; proficiency with web applications and Microsoft Office; ability to work after hours, weekends, and on-call; able to lift up to 35 lbs. Preferred: physical ability to perform manual tasks with dexterity; experience in medical device service. High-Value: medical devices, healthcare settings, equipment installation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, GxP compliance, customer service, regional support, remote/hybrid work. Collaboration: interface with customers, sales, and regional/national support teams. WorkSetup: remote with regional travel, primarily in Rhode Island and Eastern Massachusetts.
