Role: Field Engineer responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of GE Healthcare's CT and other medical imaging modalities within hospital settings in Houston, TX. Objectives: ensure optimal equipment performance to support high-quality patient care. Responsibilities: perform timely maintenance, lead installations and validations, troubleshoot complex issues, manage customer relationships from dispatch to resolution, and support revenue growth through service sales. Requirements: associate degree or military experience with 4+ years servicing electronic equipment, or high school diploma with 6+ years relevant experience; technical expertise in CT troubleshooting, repair, and installation; valid driver's license; proficiency in Web applications and Microsoft Office; flexibility for after-hours and on-call schedules; physical ability to handle equipment-lifting tasks. Preferred: experience working in healthcare environments with adherence to hospital protocols.
