Field Service Engineer 2

Role: Field Service Engineer 2, responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing medical imaging and diagnostic equipment to ensure optimal healthcare service delivery. Objectives include performing preventative maintenance, resolving service issues, leading equipment installations, and driving customer satisfaction through service excellence. Responsibilities encompass managing customer relationships, escalating issues as needed, adhering to regulatory and hospital protocols, and supporting revenue growth through upselling value-added services. Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience servicing medical equipment; or military equivalent; or a high school diploma with 6+ years of industry experience. Must hold a valid driver's license and be comfortable working onsite at healthcare facilities within the Columbia SC area, with potential overnight travel. Skills include experience with medical device troubleshooting, service repair, installations, customer communication, and familiarity with web applications and Microsoft Office. Preferred: experience servicing advanced modalities such as X-ray, CT, or Nuclear Medicine equipment. High-value specifics: servicing imaging modalities, working in hospital environments, regulatory compliance, GxP, and clinical support. Work setup involves onsite support with a company-provided vehicle; travel as needed.
