Field Service Engineer

Role: Field Service Engineer supporting Agilent's IVD biopsy tissue stainer systems and multi-vendor lab instruments. Responsibilities: perform on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and repairs of hardware, software, and networking; optimize system configurations; provide customer training; collaborate with management and sales teams; document service activities; support quality systems and feedback to product teams. Requirements: high school diploma or technical training; 4+ years in instrumentation maintenance or troubleshooting in regulated labs; strong problem-solving, communication, and computer skills; familiarity with clinical/analytical lab environments; experience with Agilent biopsy stainers a plus. High-Value: IVD diagnostics, biopsy tissue staining, regulated lab environment, instrumentation troubleshooting, multi-vendor solutions, customer support, travel up to 50% primarily across Northeastern US, full-time, remote work option. Preferred: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related science. Work setup involves extensive travel within the US, primarily in the Northeast; candidate must reside within 50 miles of New York City.
