Role: Field Engineer I supporting preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of biopharma equipment in customer sites, primarily in Lubbock and Midland, TX. Objectives: ensure timely, accurate service, enhance customer satisfaction, and support equipment installation and repair. Responsibilities: perform preventive maintenance, assist experienced engineers, communicate effectively with customers, recommend value-added services, manage administrative tasks, and support revenue growth through sales leads. Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's in Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields; or military experience, or 4+ years servicing electronic equipment; proficiency with web applications and Microsoft Office; valid driver's license; ability to work after hours/on-call, and meet physical requirements. Preferred: experience with biopharma manufacturing or medical devices is implied, with emphasis on service excellence. High-Value: onsite support at healthcare or biopharma equipment, possibly involving GxP compliance, quality standards, and safety regulations. Collaboration: work with teammates, commercial teams, and escalate issues per GEHC protocols. Work setup: onsite at customer locations with provided vehicle, willingness to work in designated areas, and travel as needed.
