Role: Field Service Engineer specializing in medical equipment maintenance and repair, primarily in hospital settings. Responsibilities: perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and conduct basic repairs, assist with installations, and maintain customer relationships to ensure satisfaction. Follow all safety, regulatory, and hospital protocols, including documentation and parts management. Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex issues and recommend value-added services. Requirements: associate degree or equivalent military training + 2 years servicing electronic medical equipment, or high school diploma + 4 years relevant experience; valid U.S. driver’s license; proficiency with web applications and Microsoft Office; ability to work after hours and on-call. Preferred: technical skills in CT and/or MRI modalities; physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform manual tasks requiring dexterity. High-value specifics: service experience on diagnostic imaging (CT/MRI), working within GxP and regulatory environments, in North American healthcare facilities.
