Field Service Engineer 1

Role: Field Engineer I responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of medical imaging equipment at healthcare facilities, primarily ultrasound and XR modalities. Objectives: ensure optimal equipment performance, enhance customer satisfaction, and maintain regulatory compliance. Responsibilities: perform timely maintenance, assist senior engineers, communicate with customers, document work, and recommend value-added services. Requirements: associate degree or military equivalent with 2+ years servicing electronic equipment; high school diploma with 4+ years relevant experience; valid driver’s license; proficiency with web and Microsoft applications; ability to work after hours and weekends. Preferred skills include technical expertise in Ultrasound and XR. High-Value specifics: supports medical devices in hospital/healthcare settings, involving GxP compliance, regulatory adherence, and physical capacity for equipment handling. Collaboration: work with experienced engineers, support regional/national teams, and liaise directly with customers. Location: remote with onsite work in Austin, TX, including occasional travel; availability for after-hours and rotating on-call schedules.
