Role: Field Service Engineer 1 responsible for preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting of medical equipment in the Philadelphia Metro and Southern New Jersey regions. Objectives include ensuring on-time service, assisting with equipment installation, and fostering customer satisfaction. Responsibilities encompass performing preventative maintenance, supporting repair and installation activities, communicating effectively with customers and internal teams, managing service records, and identifying opportunities for value-added services and sales leads. Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields; or military experience or equivalent with 4+ years servicing electronic equipment. Technical skills include electrical systems, AC/DC currents, and familiarity with web applications and Microsoft tools. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, physical ability to handle equipment (up to 35 lbs.), and flexibility for after-hours, weekend, or on-call work. Preferred: experience servicing medical equipment, especially vascular systems.
