Role: Field Engineer responsible for preventative maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repairs of GE healthcare medical equipment within hospital settings in Kansas City MO/Kansas City KS. Objectives: ensure optimal equipment performance to support healthcare delivery. Responsibilities: perform timely maintenance, assist with complex repairs, support equipment installations, communicate with customers, maintain documentation, and adhere to hospital and regulatory protocols. Collaborate with team members, escalate issues as needed, and recommend value-added services to customers. Qualifications: associate degree or equivalent military/experience (or high school diploma with relevant experience), valid driver’s license, proficiency with web and Microsoft tools, and ability to work after hours or on-call including weekends. Preferred: technical expertise in MR and CT modalities. Experience with electronic equipment servicing is required, with specific technical skills in advanced imaging modalities preferred. Physical requirements include lifting up to 35 lbs., bending, reaching, and prolonged standing or crouching. Work setup involves on-site hospital environments with travel within the Kansas City area; no visa sponsorship or remote work applicable.
