Position Summary
The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is a regionally aligned, field-based role providing access and reimbursement education/support for customers using DEXTENZA. Customers include HCPs and staff at clinics, ASCs, HOPDs, and other site-of-care facilities. Works with billing/coding, revenue cycle, and other stakeholders to secure Access & Reimbursement.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Proactively educate purchasers/prescribers/office personnel on DEXTENZA coding and J-code pull-through (payer-specific government/private instructions using PRC-approved materials).
- Reactively resolve access and reimbursement issues; provide education to secure reimbursement/access.
- Provide PRC-approved product coverage information (claims processing requirements, prior authorizations, appeals; disease state info).
- Collaborate with HCPs and cross-functional partners to drive resolution.
- Share payer policy/market dynamics with National Account Directors and Key Account Managers.
- Coordinate with field sales on account prioritization and follow-up plans.
- Serve as primary Market Access point of contact for corporate accounts, distribution, HUB, and payer issues.
- Act as HUB liaison: educate on patient support programs, financial assistance/funding options, enrollment, and HUB utilization.
Qualification Requirements
- BA/BS required.
- 5β7 years prior reimbursement and access experience (preferred).
- 3+ years related pharma/biotech experience such as Market Access, Sales, or Product Marketing (strongly preferred).
- Experience launching specialty therapeutics in a buy-and-bill environment.
- Strong understanding of medical benefit policies across payer types and sites of care.
- Ability to lead without authority in a matrix organization.
- Exceptional communication/interpersonal and problem-solving skills with key decision makers.
- Ability to identify access barriers and design resolution plans.
- Compliance with corporate/industry policies in collaboration with Legal/Regulatory/Compliance.
- Live near a major airport; travel ~70β75% (avg. 4 days/week).
