Position Summary
The Field Reimbursement Manager proactively educates and supports appropriate providers and their office staff on reimbursement programs for designated therapeutic products within defined geographically aligned accounts. Serves as key contact and lead for reimbursement and access support and is the market access expert on payer, policy, and processes, analyzing reimbursement/access issues and acting as a regional resource for field sales.
Essential Functions
- Provide face-to-face and virtual engagements using approved tools to answer coverage questions and educate providers on coverage expectations, coding/billing, prior authorization, and financial assistance resources.
- Deliver education and services on access, coverage, coding, reimbursement, and affordability for IBRX products.
- Proactively communicate changes to key stakeholders; anticipate and respond to reimbursement challenges in assigned geography.
- Educate healthcare professionals on IBRX HUB Support Services.
- Plan and attend strategic interactions at key industry conferences.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Regional Sales Directors, Marketing, Medical, and HUB services.
- Achieve targets/objectives set by senior leadership.
- Track and analyze HUB portal data for specific geography; assist with training cross-functional partners.
- Interact with customers per IBRX compliance policies/procedures.
Education & Experience / Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- 12+ years of US pharmaceutical industry or healthcare-focused reimbursement experience required.
- 5+ years working with customers in a market access capacity required.
- Oncology or Urology buy-and-bill reimbursement experience preferred.
- Demonstrated collaboration with cross-functional business partners required.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driverβs license.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Medicare Parts A/B/C/D and commercial reimbursement knowledge; familiarity with HCPCS (I/II) and ICD-10 coding.
- Strong planning/communication; ability to present complex information to multiple stakeholders.
- Clinical/technical/scientific aptitude for complex disease states.
- Strong verbal/written communication; accountability, integrity, trust.
- Ability to anticipate issues and solve problems quickly; strong organization/time management.
Working Environment
- Remote; up to 50% travel.
- Drive personal vehicle; complete motor vehicle record check and maintain required auto liability insurance.
