Responsibilities:
- Execute regional strategic plan with internal/external stakeholders (e.g., HUB, market access, field partners).
- After prescription receipt, provide office education on formulary/utilization management, insurance forms/procedures, codes, benefits investigation, prior authorization, appeals, and claims resolution.
- Educate offices on compliant insurance authorization and reimbursement requirements.
- Educate physician office staff on Harmony patient support services using approved materials.
- Manage daily activities to support patient access; act as an extension of the HUB, including in-person customer visits.
- Perform all activities in compliance with Rules of Engagement and company guidance.
- Participate in meetings as appropriate; input call activity into CRM; review patient case information compliantly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Business or related discipline (required); Masterβs degree or higher (preferred).
- 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech reimbursement or access experience in limited distribution models (or relevant experience); rare disease/complex specialty product launch experience (preferred).
- Proven cross-functional teamwork in a matrix environment.
- Experience with reimbursement process, field reimbursement services, and patient support programs.
- Experience coordinating patient/provider support (specialty pharmacy, HUB, reimbursement services).
- Ability to handle patient health information (PHI) per policies.
- Must live in assigned coverage area (preference: near Seattle, WA; San Francisco, CA; San Jose, CA).
