Field Reimbursement Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute account-specific access and reimbursement plans supporting product launch, optimizing site of care, and building reimbursement confidence to sustain patient access.
- Educate accounts on patient support services and collaborate with Patient Services for onboarding, therapy initiation, and ongoing treatment.
- Build relationships with Sales, Patient Services, Account Directors, and Medical to align access strategy and remove barriers to therapy initiation.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure consistent, accurate REMS communication and field execution.
- Coordinate between provider offices, specialty pharmacy, and infusion sites.
- Guide healthcare professionals in resolving access challenges (prior authorizations, denials, appeals, payer site-of-care restrictions) per company policies and processes.
- Anticipate and adapt to evolving launch dynamics, payer policies, and distribution pathway changes.
- Cover an assigned FRM territory with strong planning and time management.
- Establish relationships with access champions to support access readiness and ongoing therapy delivery.
- Update accounts on payer policy evolution, coding updates (e.g., J-code progression), and site-of-care management trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years in biopharma reimbursement, market access, or field-based access roles in a matrix environment; at least 2 years direct reimbursement experience supporting medical benefit therapies (buy & bill preferred).
- Experience across buy & bill and specialty pharmacy distribution models, including white bagging and site-of-care management.
- Rare disease experience and product launch experience strongly preferred.
