Immunology Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is an in-office resource for healthcare providers (HCPs) within a designated territory. Engages with HCP offices to address patient access and reimbursement inquiries for AbbVie’s immunology portfolio, including coverage/reimbursement expertise, use of AbbVie support tools, and education on prescription status, program eligibility, and payer processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs (bio coordinators and/or office staff) on patient support programs, access/reimbursement tools, and services.
- Educate on product acquisition options (specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution).
- Provide strategies/resources to address patient access issues.
- Provide localized expertise on national/regional payer policies (coding updates, claims submission methodology).
- Collaborate with AbbVie Access & Reimbursement Support Center on prescription status and program eligibility updates.
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and Market Access teams.
- Establish/maintain provider relationships in the territory.
- Maintain knowledge of managed care, reimbursement, and policy trends.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ immunology experience, or access/reimbursement expertise with market access and payer account management.
- Strong territory/strategic account management and leadership record.
- Functional knowledge of access and reimbursement support service centers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical knowledge of coding/billing requirements (Medicare Parts A/B/C/D) and reimbursement dynamics.
- Understanding of rules/regulations/risks for reimbursement support services.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening; drive personal/company vehicle or powered equipment.
