The Immunology Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is an in-office resource for HCPs in a designated territory, addressing patient access and reimbursement inquiries for AbbVie’s immunology portfolio and educating on prescription status, program eligibility, and payer processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs (including bio coordinators/office staff) on AbbVie patient support programs, including access and reimbursement tools/services.
- Educate on product acquisition options (specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution).
- Provide resources/strategies to address patient access issues.
- Provide localized expertise on national/regional payer policies (coding changes, claims submission).
- Coordinate with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement Support Center on prescription status and eligibility updates.
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and Market Access teams.
- Build and maintain provider relationships within the territory.
- Maintain knowledge of managed care, reimbursement, and policy trends.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ immunology experience, or access/reimbursement with market access and payer account management expertise.
- Strong territory/strategic account management; proven leadership in current role.
- Functional knowledge of access and reimbursement support service centers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate coding/billing requirements across Medicare Parts A/B/C/D (or Medicare and related reimbursement).
- Understanding of rules/regulations/risks for reimbursement support services.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Driving: personal/company vehicle or powered material handling equipment; valid driver’s license; pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
- Position level: grade 18 or 19 (based on qualifications/experience/skills).
