Immunology Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) serves as a specialized in-office resource for healthcare providers in the territory, addressing patient access and reimbursement inquiries for AbbVie’s immunology portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs (including bio coordinators and/or office staff) on patient support programs, access and reimbursement tools/services.
- Educate on product acquisition options (specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution).
- Provide strategies to address patient access issues.
- Offer localized expertise on national/regional payer policies (coding changes and claims submission methodology).
- Collaborate with AbbVie Access and Reimbursement Support Center regarding prescription status and program eligibility updates.
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and Market Access teams.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with providers in the assigned territory.
- Maintain current knowledge of managed care, reimbursement, and policy trends.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in immunology, or access and reimbursement expertise with market access and payer account management.
- Exceptional territory/strategic account management skills.
- Proven leadership record within current role.
- Functional knowledge of access and reimbursement support service centers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of coding/billing technical elements (Medicare Parts A, B, C, D).
- Understanding of rules/regulations/risks for reimbursement support services.
- Ability to build relationships quickly and lead without authority.
- Grade 18 or 19 based on experience/skills; Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to drive (personal/company vehicle or powered material handling equipment); valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
