Field-based Immunology Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) responsible for HCP patient access and reimbursement inquiries within a designated territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs (including bio coordinators and/or office staff) on AbbVie patient support programs, access and reimbursement tools/services.
- Educate on product acquisition options (specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution).
- Provide resources/strategies to address patient access issues.
- Offer localized expertise on national and regional payer policies, including coding updates and claims submission methodology.
- Collaborate with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement Support Center to relay prescription status and program eligibility updates.
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and Market Access teams.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with providers in the assigned territory.
- Maintain current knowledge of managed care, reimbursement, and policy trends.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in immunology, or access and reimbursement experience with expertise in market access and payer account management.
- Exceptional territory/strategic account management skills (process mastery, customer engagement, strategic mindset, collaboration, market dynamics).
- Proven leadership record in current role.
- Functional knowledge of access and reimbursement support service centers.
- Excellent oral/written/presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of technical coding and billing requirements (Medicare Parts A, B, C and D or Medicare and related reimbursement dynamics).
- Understanding of rules/regulations/risks related to reimbursement support services.
- Ability to build relationships, collaborate with stakeholders, and lead without authority.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to drive personal auto or company vehicle/equipment; valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Role classified as grade 18 or 19.
