Immunology Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is a specialized in-office resource for HCPs in a designated territory. The FRM supports patient access and reimbursement inquiries for AbbVie’s immunology portfolio, providing expertise on coverage, reimbursement challenges, and use of AbbVie support tools, and educating on prescription status, program eligibility, and payer processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs (bio coordinators/office staff) on AbbVie patient support programs, including access and reimbursement tools/services.
- Educate on product acquisition options (specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution).
- Provide resources/strategies to address patient access issues.
- Deliver localized expertise on national/regional payer policies (coding updates, claims submission methodology).
- Coordinate with AbbVie Access and Reimbursement Support Center on prescription status and eligibility updates.
- Report payer trends to Patient Services and Market Access account teams.
- Establish and maintain provider relationships within the territory.
- Maintain knowledge of managed care, reimbursement, and policy trends.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in immunology, or access/reimbursement with market access and payer account management expertise.
- Strong territory/strategic account management skills and leadership in current role.
- Functional knowledge of access/reimbursement support service centers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain coding/billing requirements nationally/regionally across Medicare Part A/B/C/D and related reimbursement dynamics.
- Understanding of rules, regulations, and risks for reimbursement support services.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to drive (personal auto/company vehicle or powered material handling equipment) and hold a valid driver’s license; pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
