This role is field-based; candidates should live within a reasonable distance of the primary city. Territory: Michigan, Northern Indiana, and Northwest Ohio (Detroit, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo; Toledo, Elyria; South Bend, Muncie, Gary; Fort Wayne).

Immunology Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is a specialized in-office resource for healthcare providers (HCPs) in the territory, addressing patient access and reimbursement inquiries for AbbVie’s immunology portfolio. Provides expertise on coverage/reimbursement challenges and AbbVie support tools, and educates on prescription status, program eligibility, and payer processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs and office staff on patient support programs, access/reimbursement tools, and services.
- Educate on product acquisition options (specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution).
- Provide strategies/resources to address patient access issues.
- Deliver localized expertise on national/regional payer policies (coding updates, claims submission methodology).
- Coordinate with Access and Reimbursement Support Center to relay prescription status and eligibility updates.
- Report payer trends to Patient Services and Market Access.
- Build and maintain professional provider relationships; stay current on managed care/reimbursement/policy trends.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in immunology, or access/reimbursement with market access and payer account management expertise.
- Strong territory/account management, leadership, and collaboration.
- Functional knowledge of access/reimbursement support service centers.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to communicate coding/billing requirements across Medicare Parts A/B/C/D.
- Understanding of rules/regulations/risks for reimbursement support services.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to meet safe driving requirements.
