Immunology Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) provides in-office support to healthcare providers (HCPs) in a designated territory, addressing patient access and reimbursement inquiries for AbbVie’s immunology portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs (including bio coordinators/office staff) on AbbVie patient support programs, including access and reimbursement tools/services.
- Educate on product acquisition options (specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and bagging).
- Educate resources/strategies to address patient access issues.
- Provide localized expertise on payer policies and utilization management criteria; update HCPs on medical billing/coding and claim submission methodology.
- Coordinate with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement Support Center on prescription status and program eligibility updates.
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and Market Access.
- Build and maintain provider relationships; maintain knowledge of managed care/reimbursement/policy trends.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in immunology, or access & reimbursement with market access/payer account management expertise.
- Expertise in specialty biologics drug acquisition/dispensing (Buy and Bill, reimbursement analysis, specialty pharmacies/distributors).
- Territory/strategic account management; leadership record.
- Functional knowledge of access/reimbursement support service centers.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain coding/billing requirements (Medicare Parts A, B, C, D or Medicare reimbursement dynamics).
- Understanding of rules/regulations and risks related to reimbursement support services.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening; travel/driving with personal auto or company vehicle or powered equipment.
