The Immunology Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) is a field-based, in-office resource for healthcare providers (HCPs) within a designated territory. The FRM engages directly with HCP offices to address patient access and reimbursement inquiries related to AbbVie’s immunology portfolio, providing expertise on coverage and reimbursement challenges, utilization, patient prescription status, program eligibility, and payer processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs (bio coordinators and/or office staff) on AbbVie patient support programs, including access and reimbursement tools and services.
- Educate on product acquisition options (specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and bagging).
- Provide resources and strategies to address patient access issues.
- Provide localized expertise on national/regional payer policies and utilization management criteria, including medical billing/coding updates and medical benefit claims submission methodology.
- Collaborate with AbbVie’s Access and Reimbursement Support Center to relay prescription status and program eligibility updates.
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and Market Access teams.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with providers in the assigned territory.
- Maintain current knowledge on managed care, reimbursement, and policy trends.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in immunology, or access and reimbursement with expertise in market access and payer account management.
- Expertise in drug acquisition/dispensing in specialty biologics (e.g., Buy and Bill, reimbursement analysis, specialty pharmacies/distributors).
- Exceptional territory and strategic account management abilities.
- Proven leadership record.
- Functional knowledge of access and reimbursement support service centers.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication plus interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of coding and billing requirements at national/regional level (Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D).
- Understanding of rules/regulations/risks related to reimbursement support services.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and lead without authority.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Valid driver’s license; pre-employment drug screening and safe driving requirements.
- Must be able to drive personal auto/company vehicle or powered material handling equipment.
