The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) serves as an alternative in-office resource to address HCP questions about patient access and reimbursement for the AbbVie Immunology portfolio. Responsibilities include educating on access/reimbursement support tools, advising HCPs on prescription status and program eligibility, and educating HCP offices on payer processes.

Responsibilities:
- Educate HCPs on patient support programs, including access and reimbursement support tools/services
- Educate on product-specific acquisition/access options (e.g., specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution)
- Educate on resources to address access issues
- Provide local expertise on national/regional payer policies (payer issues, coding changes, claims submission)
- Liaise with AbbVie Access and Reimbursement support center to update HCPs on Rx status and eligibility
- Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams
- Establish and maintain relationships with providers in territory
- Stay current on managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; relevant equivalent industry experience required
- If no bachelor’s: at least 5 years experience, including 3+ years in pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred; high school diploma/GED required
- Proven leadership and presentation skills; strong business acumen and use of business tools; strategic/critical thinking
- Ability to adapt selling approach; effective in matrix environment

Preferred:
- Sales success within therapeutic areas
- Commercial pharma experience (physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, marketing)
- In-depth scientific/therapeutic/product/competitive knowledge; recognized expert
- English proficiency (verbal/written) for non-English speaking countries

Essential:
- Meet all HCIR credentialing requirements for facility entry; be in good standing/eligible
- Valid driver’s license; pass pre-employment drug screening; meet safe driving requirements
