Role Summary
The Field Reimbursement Manager is a front-line member of the Regeneron Commercial and Field Reimbursement Management team. The primary purpose of this role is to support Health Care Practitioner offices in obtaining appropriate access to Regeneron products for patients, ensuring optimal access, pull-through, and understanding of access services and program support related to the Regeneron product portfolio. Supports the company and divisional reimbursement strategy for Regeneron products within various payer segments. Requires the ability to navigate across multiple internal customers, sales teams, Payer teams, Alliance partners, HUBs, etc. Reports to the District Manager of Field Market Access.
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with Regeneron and Alliance sales organizations to act as a process and payer subject matter expert, supporting the healthcare provider segment.
- Execute a strategic tactical plan for Alliance products access and reimbursement initiatives relevant to the defined needs of each product and account within the defined market.
- Collaborate with REGN and Sanofi partners and district teams to ensure optimal coverage and customer knowledge of REGN patient services within defined accounts.
- Provide process, payer, and specialty pharmacy support to educate physician offices regarding coverage of alliance products and streamline coverage and specialty pharmacy processes.
- Establish and maintain knowledge of the local and national payer landscape, including Specialty Pharmacy and Utilization Management criteria for assigned products.
- Develop relationships with targeted healthcare provider offices to resolve payer coverage issues in a manner compliant with Regeneron policies and SOPs.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree.
- Required: Minimum 5 years’ experience in pharmaceuticals and/or sub-cutaneous self-injectable biologics in a matrix environment; 2 years Reimbursement experience.
- Required: Experience working with products delivered through a Specialty Pharmacy network.
- Preferred: Previous experience launching new Specialty Pharmaceutical/Biologics products or indications.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Commercial Insurers, Managed Care, Government, and Federal payer sectors.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Integrated Delivery Network/Integrated Health Systems.
- Preferred: Knowledge of CMS policies and Part D Pharmacy Benefit design and coverage policy.
- Preferred: Ability to maintain knowledge base for access and patient/payer support programs and provide field insights for Market Access materials.
- Preferred: Ability to develop and execute annual budget within the territory.
